It may feel daunting to find someone you trust with your child and your story. You want your child to just be a kid again, change from “survive” to thrive, and find freedom from your own childhood hardships. I’m passionate about helping children, teens, and adults reach meaningful goals, strengthen relationships, and find healing and lasting recovery.
Utilizing Play and Art Therapy (with sprinkles of laughter), I help kids regulate emotions, practice effective communication, process big “T” and little “t” traumas, build a stronger sense of self, and create secure attachments! For those seeking support for teens, my desire is to create a safe and non-judgmental space for your teen to discover what their life would look like without the burdens of both interpersonal and intrapersonal issues taking over and how to make this a reality.
Through the integration of Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Attachment Theory, I come alongside adults with childhood trauma who are ready to seek healing from their past, decide the meaning they will take away from it, and its impact on their life moving forward.
Our journey begins with the understanding that “The most important thing isn’t what you did, it’s what you do after what you did” (Garry Landreth). Every moment can be a hope-filled opportunity to make a change. So when you’re ready, I’m here.
